About this course
Curriculum mapping is increasingly important in ensuring that learning experiences are purposeful, balanced and responsive to the needs of today's learners. This 30-hour course takes participants on a practical and reflective journey into how curriculum is planned, organized and translated into classroom practice.
Participants will critically examine existing understandings of curriculum and explore how curriculum components, learning outcomes, teaching and learning processes, and assessment work together to create meaningful learning experiences.
Through practical activities and hands-on review of curriculum samples, participants will develop the skills to map and align Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), learning domains, teaching and learning processes, and assessment. The course also considers varied learning needs and social contexts, enabling participants to identify gaps and propose practical improvements to curriculum and classroom practices.
