Description

This course will enhance teachers' skills and abilities to prepare learners for problem solving in Mathematics, it will equip them with requisite knowledge and skills for sharpening critical thinking skills necessary for problem-solving in Mathematics.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, each participant will be able to:

  • Apply skillfully various problem-solving strategies in Mathematics.
  • Design a variety of problem-solving tasks for primary mathematics students.
  • Teach mathematics using problem solving strategies.
  • Assess problem solving skills in Mathematics.
  • Provide constructive feedback to peers and learners on problem solving strategies and skills.
