English for the Workplace - Placement Test

Develop the English communication skills you need to succeed at work
English for the Workplace is a series of flexible, 30-hour online courses designed to help you communicate clearly, confidently and effectively at work.
You will develop practical English for the workplace, strengthen your professional writing, expand your grammar and vocabulary, and build the language skills needed to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and other professional audiences.
You will receive regular feedback and support from an online tutor, and on successful completion of each course, earn an AKU Micro-Credential and Digital Badge.
Start at the right level and progress
English for the Workplace is available at four levels, allowing you to start at the level that matches your current English and progress as your skills develop:
A1/A2 → B1 → B2 → C1

The test takes approximately 20 minutes and will recommend the course level that best matches your current English ability.
How to get started
- If you already have a LEADS account, simply log in and register for the free test.
- If you are new to LEADS, please create an account first. Once your account has been created, you will be able to register for the Placement Test and complete the test on our learning platform.
